NMON FORD is…
…the composer, librettist, producer, and title-role performer of ORFEUS, which was scheduled for its world premiere at London’s Young Vic Theatre, prior to postponement due to Covid-19.
After beginning his artistic life at age 3 as a piano prodigy, Nmon began an international opera career, becoming a featured soloist on 2 Grammy-winning albums (total of 5 Grammy Awards), and reaching the Top 20 on the Billboard Charts (Classical, Classical Crossover). He has recorded for Universal Music Group, Naxos, Concord, Telarc, and eOne.
Nmon is Founder and Creative Director of One World Productions, a creative development and production company specializing in live immersive and XR-driven media projects. Current partners include San Diego and LA Comic Cons, WonderCon, 4DFun, and Arbour Artists (London). As a filmmaker and producer, he has won accolades from the Los Angeles Independent, Berlin, Chicago Horror, and Serbian Film Festivals.
Prior to founding One World, Nmon was VP and U.S. Head of A&R (Classics and Alternative) for Universal Music/VLG, followed by a tenure as Managing Director of A&R and Brand Development for Lune Rouge Entertainment, a Montréal-based corporation owned by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté.
